Youth Jobs Grant launches to help Essex employers grow their teams

Employers across Essex can now access a new £3,000 grant to support recruitment and bring fresh talent into their business.

The Youth Jobs Grant is designed to make it easier for businesses of all sizes to hire young people and invest in their future workforce.

What's on offer?

Employers can receive £3,000 for every eligible young person they hire, helping to offset the cost of recruitment and onboarding while strengthening their team.

There are no restrictions on business size or sector, meaning any employer can take advantage of the opportunity.

Who can you hire?

The grant supports the recruitment of young people who:

• Are aged 18–24

• Are currently claiming Universal Credit

• Have been out of work for at least 6 months

This creates a real opportunity to give someone a start in work, while bringing new energy and perspective into your organisation.
