Who’s it for?
Any Essex resident aged 16 or over who has the right to work in the UK and is interested in a career in construction.
Whether you already have experience, are looking to transfer skills from another sector, or are completely new to construction, our team can help you explore opportunities and connect with employers who are actively recruiting.
What is it?
The Construction Job Brokerage Service is a free employment support service designed to help Essex residents access jobs across the construction industry.
We work with construction employers across Essex to identify live vacancies and match suitable candidates to opportunities. Our focus is on helping residents move into sustainable employment and supporting employers to find the workforce they need.
What’s required?
It's free to access and easy to get started.
All that's required is a simple registration. Once you've registered your interest, a member of the team will contact you to discuss your circumstances, career goals and the types of opportunities that may be suitable for you.
How does it work?
Once registered, we'll work with you to understand your skills, experience and career aspirations before matching you with suitable construction vacancies.
You'll have access to personalised support throughout the process, including interview preparation, guidance on recruitment processes, introductions to employers and help to overcome barriers that may be preventing you from securing employment.
If additional training, qualifications or industry accreditations would improve your chances of finding work, we'll discuss the options available and help connect you with the most appropriate support.
