The dashboard is free and open to access for everyone who wants to better understand the Essex labour market and skills landscape.

The dashboard gives a clear, joined-up view of the Essex economy and labour market, bringing together key indicators like jobs, businesses, earnings, and job demand.
It also offers deeper insights into trends over time, skills and qualifications, and how different sectors and districts compare - all in one place. This creates a single, reliable source to help understand what's happening now, and what it means for the future.

How does it work?
The dashboard pulls together data from multiple trusted sources into one interactive platform. Users can explore different sections through the navigation panel such as Earnings & Productivity, Job Market Insights, Skills Gap & Future Outlook, and more. Visual tools such as charts, trend lines, and maps make it easy to compare data across time periods, sectors, and districts. This enables users to quickly identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities to inform decision-making.
