What is it?
The Essex Construction Job Brokerage will be a fully funded, hands-on recruitment service designed to simplify and streamline hiring for the construction sector. It willbring together employers and job-ready candidates, while also linking into localtraining and skills provision to ensure a strong pipeline of talent.
What’s required?
- Employers will need to register their interest in the service
- Provide details of current or upcoming vacancies
- Engage with the brokerage team to support candidate matching
How does it work?
Once launched, the service will:
- Work directly with employers to understand their recruitment needs
- Match vacancies with pre-screened, job-ready candidates
- Provide support with vacancy promotion and candidate sourcing
- Connect employers to training and skills programmes where needed to build future pipelines.
This approach will reduce the time and cost associated with recruitment, while improving access to local talent.
