Who’s it for?
Local businesses and professionals looking to generously share their industry knowledge with the next generation, engage with the future workforce, and support careers education in Essex.
What is it?
A programme that brings together schools, colleges, and employers to inspire young people and help them progress toward their dream careers. You can take part as:
- Industry Champion – support career activities and connect directly with students.
- Enterprise Advisor – help schools develop strong, impactful careers programmes.
- Cornerstone Employer – collaborate with the Hub to shape careers education across the region.
What’s required?
Simply just be local to Essex and willing to share your expertise! This can be through talks, activities, mentorship, or strategic support. You choose the level of involvement that suits your organisation, from occasional contributions to ongoing partnership roles.
How does it work?
- Choose a role (Industry Champion, Enterprise Advisor, or Cornerstone Employer).
- Connect with the Careers Hub, who will match you with the right school or college.
- Support career‑related activities, from workshops to programme development.
- Make an impact by helping young people understand opportunities and build their future, while - raising your organisation’s profile.
